easilylearnthetotaltopologyofwholenetworkanddo
troubleshooting.OncetheCDP(CiscoDiscoveryProtocol)

detectanddisplayrelatedinfo.
SoastheCiscoclientofwindowshost,CDPCiscoClient
couldmonitoryournetworkautomatically.Especially,CDP
CiscoClientcouldsendtheinformationofthehostto
connectingCiscodevices.SotheLANManagementSolution
andtheRoutedWANManagementSolutionofCiscoWorks2000
CampusManagercouldgettheseinformationthroughCDPand
showthetotaltopologyofyournetworkingraphicsmode,
includingnotonlytheCisconetworkdevices,butalsoPCs
andhosts.Userscouldmonitorallnetworkdevices
(includingwindowshosts)inCisco'sNetworkManagement
software.
